Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano in San Matias Tlalancaleca erupted on Friday, January 6, releasing a plume of “incandescent material” into the air, local authorities said.
Footage captured by a fixed camera in San Nicolas de los Ranchos, Mexico, shows the moment Popocatepetl erupted early on Friday morning.
