Michael Bublé's 3-year-old son Noah, who was diagnosed with liver cancer last year, is said to be "doing well", according to the singer's brother-in-law.

Speaking to La Nacion, the brother of Michael's wife Luisana Lopilato, Dario, said: "After these very long months, Noah is doing well, very well.

"For me it's very difficult to talk about it. But I believe in God and sought comfort in Jesus Christ and a miracle from God came, from the way it was discovered, after the operation, everything."

The 36-year-old actor added: "I feel it's important to carry on accompanying. That's why I stop what I'm doing here every so often and travel there.

"When you look at the big picture, and someone has a serious problem, everything else seems less important.

"The important thing is that we're together and we're living through this as a family."

It comes after Michael shared the heartbreaking news that Noah had been diagnosed back in November.

In a statement posted on Luisana's Facebook, Michael said: "We've always talked a lot about the importance of the family and the love we have for our children.

"During this difficult time, we ask that you pray for him and please respect our privacy.

"We have a long road ahead of us and we hope that with the support of our family, friends, fans around the world and our faith in God, we can win this battle."

The singer was also forced to pull out of hosting this year's BRIT Awards to look after Noah and be with his family.
