Yahoo News Michael Gove mocked for posting Stormzy lyric amid Twitter spat with Angela Rayner
Michael Gove has been mocked on social media after tweeting a lyric from Stomzy's song Shut Up during a Twitter spat with Labour's Angela Rayner.
The bizarre move came after Mr Gove hit out at the Grime artist, following his decision to come out in support of Labour's Jeremy Corbyn on Twitter.
Mr Gove responded to the rapper's announcement, saying: "I think we again know that Stormzy, when he took to the stage at Glastonbury wearing a stab vest, he made clear what his political views were then."
He also told TalkRadio that he feels Stormzy "is a far, far better rapper than he is a political analyst".

Ms Rayner, shadow secretary of state for education, then weighed in on Twitter, sharing a BBC article with Mr Gove's statement on Stormzy and stating: "Michael Gove is crap at both".
In response Mr Gove, who serves as the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, posted the Stormzy lyric: "I set trends dem man copy".
The tweet was instantly flooded with messages and gifs while some commenters simply wrote: "No", "Oh good grief" and "Resign".

One joked: "Michael Gove should stick to rapping and leave politics to grown ups."
Another said: "Well if the kids weren't voting for you before... they certainly won't be now."
Stormzy announced his support of Mr Corbyn before calling Boris Johnson a "sinister man".
In a statement posted on twitter, Stormzy said: "I will be registering to vote and I will be voting for Jeremy Corbyn.
"For me, he is the first man in a position of power who is committed to giving the power back to the people and helping those who need a helping hand from the government the most."
