Michael Lohan Fears For Lindsay After She Reveals She’s Pregnant

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has texted her father Michael to confirm the news that she’s pregnant.

The 56-year-old television personality has revealed his daughter - who has reportedly called off her engagement to Russian millionaire businessman Egor Tarabasov - sent him the message and informed him she is expecting her first child.

Michael told PEOPLE: “She texted me and said [she was pregnant]. I’m going to believe what she says. I don’t think she’d be that quick to call it off, especially if she was pregnant.“

The Parent Trap star first told fans that she’s expecting when she posted a photo from her 2009 movie Labour Pains to her Instagram account and captioned it “I am pregnant”.

The news comes amid Lindsay’s recent claims that Egor cheated with fashion designer Dasha Pashevkina and was physically abusive toward her.

And Michael says he was on the phone to his 30-year-old daughter when one such altercation broke out.

He recalled: “I’m heartbroken for her. She was on the phone with me when she was going through it. She was frantic, she was in a bad position and I wanted to get her to a safe place and get her help.

“The hardest part, the most frustrating part is not being able to be there. Thank god she has a great support system and she was able to get out of there.”

However, he admitted the 22-year-old businessman made a good first impression on him.

He said: “He was a gentlemen, I thought he was good for her. He didn’t drink or show any signs of instability. I don’t know where it turned but maybe he put on his best face for me when he met me.”
