Michaela Strachan Is Up For Competing On Strictly Come Dancing

Michaela Strachan has revealed that she’d definitely be up for giving Strictly Come Dancing a go, if producers ever fancy asking her to take part.

The TV presenter is no stranger to such competition shows, having competed on ITV’s ‘Splash!’ in 2014.

She’s never been asked if she’d like a shot at winning the Strictly trophy though, which was awarded to Jay McGuiness and Aliona Vilani last year, and she’s keen to give it a shot.

According to The Mirror, she said: “I’ve never been asked to do Strictly Come Dancing. I wonder if producers overlook me because of my dance background, but if they’re reading this, come and get me!”

Who knows what might happen this year, Michaela.

Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby, who won Celebrity Big Brother in 2013, has also previously spoken about wanting to compete, though she believes the BBC wouldn’t let anyone from the MTV show onto the ballroom.

She told the Daily Star: “I’d love to do Strictly Come Dancing but there’s no way they’d have someone from Geordie Shore on the BBC.”

Professional dancers Aliona Vilani, Kristina Rihanoff, Ola Jordan and Tristan MacManus have all announced they won’t be returning for the 2016 series, with the full line-up yet to be revealed.
