Michelle Gomez has revealed that she would be interested in a Doctor Who return to go up against Jodie Whittaker.

Missy was last seen in 2017 episode 'The Doctor Falls', stabbing John Simm's incarnation of the Master but not before he inflicted a fatal blow on her.

Now starring in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Gomez revealed that she is "completely open" to reprising the villainous role.

"Oh gosh, yeah, of course I would," she told Radio Times. "I'd love to have a little run-around with [Jodie].

"I don't know if that's ever going to happen, but I'm completely open to it and I'd love to see Missy come back in and just get to play her again.

"I don't know how that's going to work, but I'm open to offers."

Alex Kingston, who played River Song, is another Doctor Who star open to the idea of returning. Earlier this year, she said that there were "wonderful potential opportunities" for River to show up again.

Doctor Who fans missing Missy can check out the character's Big Finish audio spin-off, which was released in February.

Whittaker will return for series 12, which has been scheduled for early 2020. Tosin Cole (Ryan), Mandip Gill (Yaz), and Bradley Walsh (Graham) are all back for more adventures as well.

Doctor Who airs on BBC One in the UK and BBC America in the US.
