Actress Michelle Keegan found herself in an unexpected situation when her co-star decided to flash behind her on live television. The ex-Coronation Street actress, 37, was among the celebrities present at the National Television Awards last night.

She was up for the Drama Performance award for her acclaimed role in the Netflix series Fool Me Once. However, during the live broadcast Michelle got more than she anticipated courtesy of her Brassic co-star Ryan Sampson.

Ryan, 38, portrays Tommo in the Sky comedy-drama series, where Michelle also features as Erin Croft. As the nominations for best Drama Performance were being read out, Ryan cheekily exposed his nipple to the camera while seated behind Michelle.

Michelle left empty-handed after the award went to Toby Jones for his portrayal of Sir Alan Bates in ITV drama Mr Bates vs the Post Office. Michelle was accompanied by her husband and former TOWIE star Mark Wright at the glamorous awards ceremony.

Brassic had also been nominated in the Comedy category but the award went to Mrs Brown's Boys. Fool Me Once also lost out in the New Drama category and Michelle lost the Drama Performance award.

After the awards ceremony, Michelle and Mark chose to head home rather than join the other celebrities at the afterparty. She shared a cosy photo on her Instagram, capturing the moment where she and her husband Mark Wright turned Netflix on and indulged in noodles with cheese and a side of mayonnaise at their lavish £3.5 million Essex home.
