Actress and 50% of ‘Marchelle’, Michelle Keegan, has taken to Twitter to slam reports that her marriage to reality star and TV presenter, Mark Wright, it on the rocks.

Michelle had been pictured out at former Corrie co-star, Ryan Thomas’ leaving do without her wedding and engagements rings, fuelling speculation that the beautiful pair are having marriage woes.

Michelle insisted that the only reason she wasn’t wearing the sparklers was because she had been working and was keeping them safe. Sounds fair enough.

She told her Twitter followers: “No wedding ring, no wedding ring’ blah blah blah sooooo boring!!! Not that I have to explain but I’m SO sick of these stories…

“I work on camera so I take it off and put it somewhere safe… SIMPLE. Last night I went straight out after work… Hence the NO ring!!!

“That’s the only comment I’m making!!!”

A source close to Michelle told The Mirror: “She wasn’t wearing her ring because she’d just come straight from work and doesn’t wear it on set.

“Her and Mark are still very loved up and they do sometimes party without each other.”

Mark was out in London on the same night, enjoying some male-bonding with his Soccer Aid teammates including Olly Murs and Niall Horan.

It was also Michelle’s 29th birthday and - even though he wasn’t with her - Mark made a cute Instagram collage.

It said: “Happy birthday to my best friend, partner in crime and love of my life………. My Wife”

Doesn’t sound like the words of a couple on the rocks to us.
