Michelle Keegan makes epic return to favourite TV show as fans say 'finally'
Michelle Keegan is poised for her telly comeback with the smash-hit Brassic set to launch its sixth series. Fans of the Sky sensation, which also joined Netflixs roster last month, can catch the season's start on Sky Max and the NOW streaming service, commencing 26 September at the prodigious prime time slot of 9pm.
Meanwhile, keen viewers can binge-watch all previous seasons available on Sky on-demand, NOW, as well as Netflix.
Sky's tantalising promos promise a series that's more jaw-dropping than ever, with their Instagram hailing: "Buckle up, they're back. #Brassic returns for series 6 on 26 September," complemented by an eye-catching poster showcasing the upcoming thrills.
The announcement sparked a buzz among fans online, manifesting in comments like: "I absolutely love this," and "Can't wait".
Stockport-bred and ex-Coronation Street actress, Michelle Keegan shines as the lead, playing the gutsy Erin, who's hell-bent on securing a brighter future for her son. Set amid the made-up Hawley, the show follows her and a motley crew engaging in low-level crime to make ends meet, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Yet as the crew ages, some begin questioning their place beyond Hawleys borders. The series is filmed in various locales across the North West including Bacup, Bolton, Burnley, not forgetting Manchester city centre's Star and Garter plus the University of Salford's campus.
Brassic, the brainchild of Joe Gilgun (known for This is England, Preacher, and Misfits) and Danny Brocklehurst of Fool Me Once fame, has been a hit with critics, boasting a perfect 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from its first season. The audience response was equally enthusiastic, with a 95% approval rating.
The new series picks up with an official synopsis stating: "After an explosive end to season 5, the Brassic gang are back. They're busy getting their lives back in order, only now the landscape is changing. People are getting older and the question of growing up looms in the air. But what does 'growing up' mean to a bunch like this?"
It continues: "Man-eating crocodiles, naked cults and terrible spray tans. The MacDonaghs are high on new-found power and cause trouble again. Vinnie and Erin try out this new 'letting go' phase of their relationship. And the others all face challenges of their own there's kids, parents, marriages. They've got baggage now."
"But it's Brassic and so there's plenty of raucous adventure to pull the gang together. Their bond proves fool proof time and time again in this jam-packed season. Not even a giant stuffed tuna can stop them."
