The 29-year-old Our Girl actress has apparently struck up a friendship with supermodel Jasmine Sanders, who is helping her get to know all the important people in La La Land.

“Michelle’s ecstatic with how her meetings went in LA and she’s been told by casting directors and top film agents that she has a good chance of cracking Hollywood – something many other British soap stars have failed to do,” an insider told Closer magazine.

“She has fallen in love with the LA lifestyle. She can see herself settling there and turning her Hollywood dream into reality.”

“Jasmine is close friends with Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, as well as knowing everyone on the party scene,” the source continued. “She gets invited to the hottest events.

“Michelle spent time with Jasmine in LA and she promised she’s introduced her to some big names – which she needs in order to make it in such a competitive industry.”

And Michelle herself has hinted at some rather exciting news in her blog for Hello! Magazine, too: “So, I’m off on my travels again,” she cooed. “By the time you read this I will be in the the ‘city of angels’! Yes I’m over in Los Angeles for a few days on business.”

Tell us more, Michelle…

“During my few days in LA I will be doing a really cool photo shoot and having a couple of meetings. Can’t say any more than that I’m afraid! By the time I come to write my next blog I will already by back from LA so I will let you know all about my trip very soon!”

Michelle’s stunt co-ordinator on Our Girl Paul Pieterse has also backed the star to be a success stateside. “The Hollywood interest has all come out of her performance in Our Girl 2. She’s very good,” he explained.

“Michelle for Hollywood, absolutely. No doubt she can make it there, the right part and she’s away. I am working with top Hollywood stars and Michelle’s of that calibre. I know good when I see it.”

And hey, Michelle’s not the only one making waves stateside. Husband Mark’s CBBC show The Dengineers is set to be screened on the Discovery Family Channel very soon. Hurrah!
