Former Coronation Street beauty, Michelle Keegan, caused a bit of a furore when she was spotted without her £20,000 wedding ring recently.

The actress, who married reality TV star Mark Wright last May, posted pictures on her Instagram page and fans were quick to spot the nakedness of her ring finger.

The photos were taken while she was away in South Africa filming BBC1 drama Our Girl. She’s now back in the UK and the ring is very much in place on her finger. Phew.

Michelle was snapped on the way to a work-out with the uber-expensive dazzler well and truly back in its place.

A source told The Sun: “Michelle left her wedding ring at home in her safe because she was scared of losing it while filming.”

The pair were forced to deny claims that they’d gone their separate ways earlier this week after a magazine reported that Michelle was having a bit _too _much fun while she was away filming.

A source told New! magazine that Mich was having a ball and felt ‘like the only girl on a stag do of hotties.’

A rep for the gorgeous couple answered the claims, stating: “Of course they’re still together.”

Mark and Michelle will celebrate their first wedding anniversary on May 24th. Their £1 million ceremony in Suffolk was attended by the royalty of soap and reality TV.

Since then Michelle has thrown herself back into work, starring in BBC1 drama Ordinary Lies, as well as Drunk History and Plebs.

She has taken over the lead role in Our Girl from Lacey Turner. The news series is due to hit screens later this year.
