Michelle Obama allegedly rented this $23 million house 'Shark House' in LA (with its own tank of sharks)

Michelle Obama sure knows how to do L.A. for a day. Last week the former First Lady reportedly rented a $23 million 12,800 square foot mansion in the Hollywood Hills for a one-night stay.

Though the sale cost of the mansion is listed online, it’s unclear what she paid to rent the property, though a source told TMZ that Obama was checking out the neighborhood and the rental property with a view to setting up a more permanent residence on the west coast.

Given the Obamas have inked a huge production deal with Netflix, it would make sense to have a home near the headquarters in Los Angeles.

One of the home's most lavish features is a shark tank pond – yes, with real sharks – which has given it the nickname “Shark House.”

The pad also boasts seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a pool with lounge seating and downtown L.A. views.

There's also the equivalent of an entire Equinox on property, which includes a full wellness center, gym, resistance pool, dry sauna and massage room. After your ultra-luxe in-home workout, you can grab a bottle of wine out of the home’s temperature-regulated wine room and unwind in the entertainment center on site.

And if you get bored of working out, you can always re-enact your best Bond villain by plotting world domination by your very own tank of sharks.
