Michelle Obama allegedly rented this $23 million house 'Shark House' in LA (with its own tank of sharks)
Michelle Obama sure knows how to do L.A. for a day. Last week the former First Lady reportedly rented a $23 million 12,800 square foot mansion in the Hollywood Hills for a one-night stay. Though the sale cost of the mansion is listed online, it’s unclear what she paid to rent the property, though a source told TMZ that Obama was checking out the neighborhood and the rental property with a view to setting up a more permanent residence on the west coast. Given the Obamas have inked a huge production deal with Netflix, it would make sense to have a home near the headquarters in Los Angeles. One of the home's most lavish features is a shark tank pond – yes, with real sharks – which has given it the nickname “Shark House.” The pad also boasts seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a pool with lounge seating and downtown L.A. views. > View this post on Instagram> > Who wants to see this state of the art modern smart home complete with 7 bedrooms and 12 baths? 12,800 square feet of living space & exceptional views perfect for entertaining.
