Michelle Pfeiffer teams up with Nicole Kidman in Apple TV+ show
Michelle Pfeiffer has teamed up with Nicole Kidman for a new Apple TV+ drama series.
Adapted from Rufi Thorpe's novel of the same name, Margo's Got Money Troubles follows a young woman whose brief affair with her English professor results in an unplanned pregnancy.
According to The Wrap, Elle Fanning will feature as the titular character, with Pfeiffer playing her mother, Shyanne.

The series also stars Kidman, who will executive produce alongside Thorpe, Fanning and Pfeiffer. Meanwhile, David E Kelley will serve as showrunner, writer and executive producer on the eight-episode show.
"Margo Millet's got money troubles. As the child of a Hooters waitress and ex-pro wrestler, she's always known she'd have to make it on her own. So she enrols at her local junior college, even though she can't imagine how she’ll ever make a living," reads the book description.
Following the affair with her professor, Margo dismisses advice to terminate the pregnancy, instead deciding to keep the baby "mostly out of naiveté and a yearning for something bigger." Unemployed and alone, she allows her estranged father Jinx to move in with her in exchange for help with childcare.

Margo develops a plan start an OnlyFans account, using Jinx's wrestling advice to help her create a compelling character. "Could this be the answer to all of Margo's problems, or does internet fame come with too high a price?" the description hints.
Pfeiffer is also set to star in the new Yellowstone spin-off The Madison. The series, described as "a heartfelt study of grief and human connection", will follow a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.
The Madison, previously titled 2024, will be Yellowstone's third spin-off series, following 1883 and 1923. Alongside her leading role, Pfeiffer will serve as a producer on the show.
