RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage has said she was disappointed to meet Jessie J despite initial excitement, because she found the songstress to be a "total cold person".

In an interview with Gay Times, the TV star was quick to sing season 12 guest judge Nicki Minaj's praises, but the same couldn't be said for Jessie J when Visage, 51, described meeting the 32-year-old on the Drag Race: Battle of the Seasons tour in Australia in 2016.

She told the publication: "When superstars come in, you don’t know what you’re going to get. You don’t know if they’re going to be standoffish, not nice, a total cold person like Jessie J was to us when we did the tour in Australia."

"I don’t care if you put that in there. It wasn’t nice," the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant continued.

"She wasn’t nice. I was so excited and then I was like, ‘Boo!’."

Visage went on to praise the singer's vocal ability as she said there were "few voices" that could “hold up” to the Price Tag hitmaker.

Jessie J, real name Jessica Cornish, reportedly split from boyfriend Channing Tatum earlier this month after an on-off relationship that was said to have started in 2018.

In spite of their split, on Tatum's 40th birthday on 26 April she posted several well-wishes to him through her Instagram stories.

"Happy 40th birthday to this special man right here," she wrote, alongside a picture of him in the sea. "You are truly one of a kind. I am so grateful you were born, and even more grateful that we met."

Tatum split from the mother of his daughter Everly and Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan in 2018. She's now engaged to Steve Kazee with whom she welcomed son Callum back in March.
