Middlesbrough hairdressers proves it's a cut above the rest with six wins at 2024 Salon Awards

A Teesside salon proved they were a cut above the rest after securing six wins at prestigious national awards.

Stainton's Tate Hair dazzled the judges at the 2024 Salon Awards which took place on Saturday, November 9, in Manchester. The awards, which are sponsored by Revlon Professional - celebrate the best of the best in the UK’s hair industry and saw Tate Hair named as one of the big winners.

The Hemlington Road salon clinched six wins in the categories: Best Colour Salon, Stylist of the Year (Denika Kinder), Colourist of the Year (Kelly Rowney), Creative Image of the Year (Kelly Rowney), Apprentice of the Year (Jessica Dennis), and Bridal Stylist of the Year (Bethan Lumley).

Owner Kelly Rowney praised the team for their hard work following the awards. She said: "Winning in six categories is absolutely incredible—I’m so proud of our team!

"We love what we do and it’s fantastic to be recognised for our efforts."

Tate Hair stands alongside other salons and professionals from across the UK and Northern Ireland. Entries were assessed by an impartial panel of industry experts in salon business, hair technique, marketing, and interior design.
