Midlands drug dealer controlling 'AJ line' found hiding in Coventry
A man who arranged the sale of drugs between Tamworth and the West Midlands has been jailed. Lentine Shaw was sentenced for his involvement in the AJ drug line on Monday (January 20).
Police began investigating the AJ drug line after arresting a number of suspected drug runners in Tamworth. Messages showed that Shaw had been directing people to sell the drugs, leading to his arrest in Coventry.
Shaw, 30, admitted to being concerned in the supply of heroin, crack cocaine, and possession of criminal property, Staffordshire Police said. He was sentenced to more than four years in jail at Stafford Crown Court.

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: “Officers are continuing to work alongside regional police forces in the Midlands to target serious and organised crime groups committing high-harm offences in our communities.
“Drug lines often involve young people who are coerced into criminality by sophisticated career criminals. We will act robustly against those responsible for these crimes and continue to work closely with partners to identify exploitation in Staffordshire.”
