Midlands high school closed on Monday due to 'exceptional circumstances'
A secondary school in the West Midlands has announced a sudden closure on Monday. Codsall Community High School, located in the Codsall area of south Staffordshire, said the school would be closed tomorrow, November 18, due to 'unexpected and exceptional circumstances'.
The school posted a message on its Facebook page, alerting parents and pupils of the closure. A school spokesperson said the secondary school 'will be closed to all students'.
It was not known what prompted the decision. Some social media users left broken heart emojis beneath the social media post.

The full post read: "Due to unexpected, exceptional circumstances, regrettably Codsall High School will be closed to all students on Monday, November 18." Codsall Community High School, located in Elliots Lane, has around 1,000 pupils and employs more than 100 staff.
