Locals were able to capture new signs that have been put up on The Wisp in Midlothian that show plans to open a new Tesco store later this year.

Culverwell, who find brands retail space across the UK, confirmed that the Danderhall unit housing a Tesco store would be completed in September 2024.

They believe that Tesco will then fit out the unit with an aim of moving in at the tail end of this year.

The signs erected on The Wisp say that other units, sized between 1,250 and 2,500 sq ft, will be available in the same block as Tesco.

Avant Homes who are behind the adjacent development are constructing a range of two, three, four and five bed family homes at the site.
