Midlothian village pub to reopen under new management after sad closure
A village pub on the outskirts of Edinburgh has been saved and is set to reopen under new management just weeks after closing.
Before Christmas the Edmonstone Inn, Danderhall, was placed on the market in the hope of attracting new tenants to take over the lease before the boozer closed its doors.
Despite closing for a short period, a new social media page has been created by the new management team who have confirmed it is set to reopen with a bang on Friday, February 7.

A 90s themed night is set to welcome back punters before a live DJ set on Saturday. Locals have also been asked to contribute towards new ideas and themes for the pub.
The pub had reopened in 2022 under new management before the team decided to step away and it was once again put on the market. Boasting upstairs accommodation, a pool table, jukebox and beer garden, it didn't take long to be snapped up.
