Midlothian youths cause 'chaos' at pool hall as police called to the scene

A group of Midlothian youths were causing "chaos" on Friday evening.

Police were called to the scene in Dalkeith at around 7.50pm on November 9.. It's understood that members of the public reported the incident outside the Corner Pocket on Buccleuch Street.

Locals said kids "kept returning to the pool hall" before being chased off by staff. Police said officers attended and issued advice.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.50pm on Friday, 8 November, we were called to a report of anti-social behaviour involving youths in the Buccleuch Street area of Dalkeith.

"Officers attended and suitable advice was given."

An eye-witness, who prefers to remain anonymous, told Edinburgh Live: "A group of kids kept coming in to Corner Pocket, the pool hall.

"They were chased off by staff. It was chaos."
