Fearless Forecast: 1121 TOTAL YDS, 78 REC, 12 TD
Projected Rank: 7
SCOTT PIANOWSKI: Mike Evans is quietly putting together a Hall of Fame resume. He went over 1,000 yards last season, which he does every year. He's done that seven straight years, the only NFL player who can make that claim. Now, obviously, there's a lot of mouths to feed in this offense. Chris Godwin will come back eventually. Julio Jones has been signed. Gage has been brought over. They have good running backs as well.
But Brady knows where his bread is buttered. He knows Mike Evans is a dynamic player in the red zone. Evans has 27 touchdowns since Brady came to Tampa Bay, and the efficiency metrics remain strong for Evans. I think he's an excellent second-round pick this year, a very high floor player, and somebody I'm going to project proactively.
Currently my wide receiver seven. Calling for 78 Evans catches, 1,121 Evans yards, and 12 more glorious Evans touchdowns. Just be careful who you give the football to. That might be valuable, Mike.
