Yahoo News Milano Has a New Amaretto Hot Cocoa Flavor That Will Be Your Cookie of Choice This Season
Picture it: It’s snowing outside, you’re warming up by the fire place, and you’re snacking on hot chocolate and cookies. Sounds like the perfect winter scene, if you ask us. The only thing that could make it better is if you were to combine the hot chocolate and cookies, and that’s where the new Milano Amaretto Hot Cocoa Cookies from Pepperidge Farm comes in.
The classic warm beverage consists of amaretto, an Italian almond-based liqueur, and hot chocolate, as you’d expect from the name. So the limited-edition Milano cookies incorporate all those flavors into each bite. It includes the two crisp cookies you know and love, and are stuffed with two cremes to deliver the dark chocolate and almond flavors. While the cookies don’t have booze in them, you’ll certainly get the flavor.
“Amaretto Hot Cocoa is a new drink-inspired flavor made to satisfy your most indulgent hot cocoa craving. Rich dark chocolate and almond flavor hidden between two crisp, delicate cookies for your holiday me-time must-have,” the description says.
The new cookies were recently spotted at Stop & Shop by Instagram account @chopsticksandfork, and they’re listed on Instacart as well. Since the packaging is quite festive for Christmastime, we’re assuming they might not be available in every store’s snack aisle just yet. However, when they are, goodbye to all self-control!
