Miley Cyrus and Machine Gun Kelly both had very bitter responses to being snubbed in Grammy nominations

Miley Cyrus and Machine Gun Kelly have publicly responded to being snubbed in the 2022 Grammys nominations, and it's all very awkward.

The nominees for the 64th annual Grammy Awards were unveiled on 23 November, with both Miley and MGK's albums (titled Plastic Hearts and Tickets to My Downfall respectively) missing from the list.

Understandably, it appears neither artist was happy to hear the news, with the pair both taking to Twitter to respond - and it's safe to say they seem slightly bitter.

Getting straight to the point soon after nominations were revealed, MGK tweeted, "wtf is wrong with the grammys". So, yep, sounds like he's made his feelings clear, then.

The musician later followed up with a second tweet, quoting lyrics from his song 'title track' which read: "i sold some tickets to come see my downfall, / it sold out in minutes / i saw friends in the front row".

Cryptic.

It turns out Kelly wasn't the only artist unhappy with the snub either, with singer Miley Cyrus also tweeting her reaction to the news. Sharing an article with a list of 30 artists who haven't won Grammys, she wrote, "In good company. 🤘🏻" . At least there's a bright side then, right Miley?

While none of her own albums or singles received noms, Miley is technically up for an award, as she's credited for her work on Lil Was X's Montero album which is nominated for Album of the Year.

She was also previously nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2014 for Bangerz, which Machine Gun Kelly hasn't received any Grammy nominations so far.

Fingers crossed for next year, guys?
