Miley Cyrus’ Younger Sister Noah Lands TWO Recording Contracts Worth $350k

We hope that Miley Cyrus has a spare wrecking ball because her younger sister, Noah Cyrus, is set to take the charts by storm as she crashes on to the music scene for the first time.

The 16-year-old has reportedly landed two recording contracts worth a total of $350,000 – which breaks down as $100,000 for writing her album and $250,000 for recording that same album.

In addition to the report, TMZ claimed “if the first album’s a hit she can get up to a $1.5 million advance for the second” – Phew, we suppose that minimum wage isn’t for every teenager.

Similarly to her superstar sibling, though, Noah is no stranger to the spotlight, having started her acting career at age three, playing Gracie Hebert for six episodes of the television show Doc.

The tween also made several appearances alongside Miley in Disney Channel’s original series Hannah Montana, and later featured as a background dancer in Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009.

The child actress’ other film credits include Mostly Ghostly, which went straight to DVD, and Ponyo, in which she voiced the title character, as well as starring in three episodes of the TV series Take 2.

Noah was born in Nashville, Tennessee, but has grown up mostly in Los Angeles with her mother Tish and father Billy Ray, who she has seemingly inherited her musical talent from.

In a recent interview, the young star explained that her famous father – who has become a massive country fixture thanks to his tracks Achy Breaky Heart and Some Gave All – has been a source of inspiration for her music career.

She told Paper magazine: “My dad always had me sing alongside him while he played guitar. He taught me how to harmonize an old song of his, ‘Missing You.’

“Writing is the best way to get your mind clear. It’s also a great way to explain your past or what you hope for the future,” she added.

So let’s hope that she has plenty on her mind, considering that she now has a debut album to write and record!
