Milifandom Founder Abby Tomlinson Hits Out At Labour ‘Trolls’ Over Jeremy Corbyn

The founder of Milifandom has hit out at her critics after she described voters’ negative attitudes to Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Abby Tomlinson, 17, rose to political prominence at the last general election when her Milifandom movement turned former Labour leader Ed Miliband into an unlikely heartthrob.

But she has faced criticism from some supporters of Mr Corbyn after she posted her thoughts on Twitter about how the new leader is viewed negatively by voters.

Miss Tomlinson has been out campaigning on Mr Corbyn and the party’s behalf in the Oldham West by-election.

She mentioned that some Labour voters would not back the party again because of its new leader.

When this was met with criticism from Corbyn supporters online, Miss Tomlinson tweeted: “P**s off, all of you just p**s off. I spend my free time trying to win people over to Jeremy on the doorstep, & all you can do is have a go?”
