The small British town of Newquay on Sunday celebrated the memory of military servicemen and women. Representatives from the town included the mayor of Newquay, Louis Gardener as well as contingents of the military including Gurkhas, Royal Marine, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and cadet forces. Each year, the day falls on the second Sunday of November and honours the British and Commonwealth military and civic service members that participated in the two World Wars as well as in later conflicts.
