Millions of Crabs Swarm During 'Bumper' Migration Season
Piles of crabs were seen swarming across a road on Australia’s Christmas Island, as millions of the crustaceans emerged from their burrows to migrate.
According to the ABC, it was expected to be one of the largest migrations in recent years.
“It’s shaping up to be a bumper year for the red crab migration,” Christmas Island National Park said in an update on November 11. Credit: Christmas Island National Park via Storyful
