Yahoo News Mindhunter season 2: Netflix releases first look at return of David Fincher’s serial killer drama
Netflix has revealed a first glimpse at the long-awaited second season of its hit serial killer drama, Mindhunter.
Mindhunter season two sees Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany reprise their roles as FBI agents in the Behavioural Science Unit who interview notorious serial killers in order to crack ongoing cases.
The new pictures reveal that the second series of the thriller, directed by David Fincher, will see the return of both Ed Kemper (Cameron Britton) and the BTK Killer Dennis Rader (Sonny Valicenti).

Arriving two years after the first, season two will be set between 1979 and 1981 and focus on the Atlanta child murders, a series of at least 28 killings of African-American children, teenagers and adults.
To solve the case, the FBI agents turn to Charles Manson, portrayed by Damon Herriman, who is notably also playing the killer in Quentin Tarantino’s forthcoming film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Serial killer Son of Sam will also feature.
Mindhunter season two premieres on Netflix on 16 August 2019.
