Mindless thug sets Leeds garage on fire with five cars damaged

A Leeds garage was targetted by a mindless thug who set the auto centre ablaze.

Five cars were damaged at Steve’s Auto Centre on Easy Road, Cross Green. The arson was carried out at 10.39pm last night (Friday, October 18) by a hooded figure who was seen running off.

West Yorksihire police are in the process of taking more details and identifying lines of enquiry. A force spokesperson said: "At 11:43pm last night, police received a report of an arson at Steve’s Auto Centre, in Easy Road, Leeds.

"The fire, which damaged five vehicles, was reported to have been started deliberately at 10.39pm by a suspect who was seen to run off. Officers are currently arranging to take further details and identify lines of enquiry."
