Miscreant steals 12 litres of milk from doorstep of Cornwall school
A brazen thief reportedly stole 12 litres of milk from the doorstep of a Cornwall school. The delivery was intended for youngsters at a nursery school.
An appeal on a community Facebook group for Lostwithiel said the person was caught on camera making off with the delivery from Lostwithiel Primary School in the early hours of Monday (November 25). It called on the person responsible to replace the milk, which it said was meant for youngsters at Tiny Trees Nursery.
Several responses to the post called on the school to share photos from the CCTV and "name and shame" - although one commenter was concerned for the personal situation of the thief, pointing out: "You've got to be pretty desperate to steal milk."

The post said: "To the individual caught on Lostwithiel School's CCTV in the early hours of Monday morning. We find it very disappointing that you thought it acceptable to steal the delivery of milk intended for the little ones at Tiny Trees Nursery.
"Should you get an attack of conscience, please feel free to replace the milk and leave in the same place you took it from."
It closed with a "polite request" to the thief not to take any further milk, warning that "otherwise the CCTV will have to be forwarded to the relevant authorities. Thank you".
