Missing 12-year-old boy last seen with father who cannot be alone with son

A 12-year-old boy who has gone missing was last seen with his father.

Dean Renshaw, 12, was last seen on Monday (July 4) at about midday at the Claremont Hotel on the Blackpool Promenade with his father Timothy Renshaw.

Police have become concerned for Dean’s welfare as Timothy is not supposed to be on his own with Dean.

A spokesperson for the police said: “We believe they are still in the Blackpool or Lytham area and we are appealing to anyone who sees them to get in touch as soon as possible.

“Anyone who sees either Timothy or Dean Renshaw should call police on 999 quoting log 0237 of July 5th.”
