Missing Ayrshire teenager may have travelled to Liverpool

Police have launched a cross-border appeal for a missing Ayrshire teenager who may have travelled to Liverpool.

David Teevan, 16, was seen boarding a train at Glasgow Central Station bound for Preston and then Liverpool yesterday (Monday, November 11) at around 5.30am.

The teenager, from Irvine, is described as around 5ft 10in tall and of slim build, with short dark hair and glasses.

When last seen, David was wearing a black jacket and black jogging bottoms. He also has access to a lime green mountain bike.

Sergeant Ross Cree, Irvine Police Office, said: "We are growing concerned for David’s welfare and extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace him.

"I would appeal to anyone who has seen him, or who has any information on his whereabouts, to contact us as soon as possible.

"I am also appealing directly to David - if you see this appeal, please let us know you are safe and well."

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3792 of November 10.
