Missing boy, 17, could be in Stoke-on-Trent as public urged to call 999

Police have launched an appeal to find a missing teenager who could be in Stoke-on-Trent. Joe Ferris lives in Liverpool but is known to visit the Potteries.

The 17-year-old was last seen at 6pm on Tuesday, November 26 heading towards the Chatsworth housing estate in Liverpool. He is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, with short blonde hair. Joe was last seen wearing a blue tracksuit top, blue shorts and black trainers.

Now members of the public are being urged to report any sightings by calling 999.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "He is known to visit Liverpool city centre, Sefton Park, Greenbank Park and Priory Woods, and goes fishing in these areas. Joe is also known to frequent Huyton, Wirral, Southport and Stoke-on-Trent areas.

"Call 999 if you see Joe, and we can make sure he is seen safe and well. Please share as widely as possible and pass on any sightings."
