Missing Devon man Robert Barnes believed to be driving Land Rover
Police are growing concerned after a man has been reported missing from Devon since Wednesday (August 21). Robert Barnes, who is in his 70s and from Honiton, was last seen leaving his home and it is believed he may be in the county still and driving his Land Rover.
A statement from Devon and Cornwall Police reads: "Police are concerned for the welfare of Robert Barnes, missing from the Honiton area. Robert was last seen Wednesday 21st August 2024 leaving his home address.
"He is described as a white male, aged in his 70s, around 6ft tall with a full head of brown hair. It is believed that Robert was wearing black jeans, red and navy top, blue and black waterproof warehouse jacket, black shoes.

"Officers believe he is in the South Devon area driving his vehicle which is a Green Land Rover Defender 110 registration W981LDA. Anybody seeing Robert or his vehicle is asked to call police as a matter of urgency quoting log number 0270 of August 23, 2024."
