A missing teenager in London has sparked a search across the capital on Tuesday.

Teen Anais, 16, has disappeared without a trace and it was reported she was last seen in the Sydenham area, in South East London.

Police have begun appealing for information on social media on Tuesday to reach out to anyone who may have seen her or have any information about her whereabouts.

The London-based teenager, who has been reported missing, was described as having last been seen wearing a black top, leggings and a coat.

Her links in London include Lambeth, Croydon and Lewisham.

MET released an image of Anais alongside a statement detailing her last movements.

A spokesperson for Lewisham Police said: “We are appealing for information about the whereabouts of 16-year-old Anais who was last seen in the #Sydenham area wearing a black top, leggings and a coat.

“She has links to #Lambeth, #Croydon and #Lewisham. If you can help 101 quoting 21MIS018949.”

Police have yet to confirm when the teenager went missing.
