McDonald's Has Revealed How To Make Egg McMuffins At Home

From Delish

Back in Lockdown Part I, many of our favourite fast food places had to close their doors, and now, once again, there's no eating in or even takeaways available at some of our top spots, including McDonald's. This means a lot of us are finding ourselves having withdrawal symptoms.

So, what are we supposed to do if we can’t get hold of our fast food favourites as easily anymore? Why, make them ourselves at home, that’s what!

We have a recipe that allows you to have Big Macs at home, plus, here's how to make McDonald's apple pies even if you have no pastry ingredients. And now we can make our own McDonald’s McMuffins in the comfort of our own kitchens!

This wonderful woman has shared a video on TikTok showing us how she made them at home.

All you need is English muffins, eggs, cheese slices and pork patties, which you can find in the meat chiller section of your local supermarket. They might even have some in the freezer section, too.

She simply fried the patty, cut the muffin in half and gave the halves a little grill, and fried the egg in a frying pan ring, to give it that authentic McDonald’s shape.

When everything was cooked, she simply buttered her muffin halves, placed a cheese slice on top, and got her meat patties and egg in there too. She even served it with a hash brown. The dream!

McDonald's has shared a recipe for its Egg McMuffins too.

The only difference is, McDonald's says to use sausage meat instead of ready-made patties. Both perfectly fine options, if you ask me.

Oh, and if you really want to take things up a notch, a rasher of bacon wouldn’t hurt, plus a bit of red or brown sauce.

Anyone else considering having breakfast for dinner today?
