Missing Scots pensioner, 82, seen on CCTV walking along road in Scots village
A pensioner who has been missing for three days has been spotted walking along a road in a Scots village.
Alice Mitchell, 82, has been reported missing from Aberdeen since 11pm on Monday. The last sighting of Alice is at 5.25am on Tuesday as she was seen on CCTV footage walking along the B797 toward Starbucks in Blackburn.
Police say that as time passes, they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare. Alice is described as being around 5ft 1ins tall, of a slim build and with short grey hair.

She is believed to be wearing a black bomber-style jacket.
Sergeant Mark Cobban said: “As time passes, our concern for Alice’s welfare continues to grow. We continue to ask anyone with any information, or potential sightings of Alice, to please come forward. We are also keen to hear from anyone with possible dashcam or video doorbell footage from the area, which may be able to assist our inquiries.
“You can call police on 101, quoting incident 1131 of 11 September, 2024.”
