Police have issued an update on girls missing from the Minera area of Wrexham. The teenagers who disappeared yesterday (Monday) morning may no longer be in North Wales, officers believe.

The youngsters had been reported missing at 5am yesterday. One is aged 15 and the other two are 14. North Wales Police said they were concerned and appealed for information

They had said: "We have concerns for three females from Minera who were reported as missing at 5am this morning. One is 15 years old and the other two are 14 years old.

Now North Wales Police have issued an update on social media. A spokesman said on the force's Facebook page last night: "Thank you to all those that have assisted in providing information of sightings regarding the three females that were reported missing from Minera earlier on today.

"Enquiries that have been conducted throughout the day suggest that they are no longer in the North Wales area, and further enquiries are being currently being conducted, with the assistance of other Forces, to ensure that they are located both safe and well."
