Mo Gilligan is hosting a UK version of Jimmy Fallon's game show 'That’s My Jam'.

The popular US music quiz is based on the music-themed segments of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and it has been given a British revamp for BBC One with Mo hosting - and the funnyman has declared he feels "honoured" to have been able to work with the US star and his team on the new format.

He said: "It was such a thrill to work with Jimmy and his outstanding team on the pilot of this show - and now we get to do a series! This is such an exceptional format and I’m so honoured that the BBC and NBCUniversal are letting me bring it to the UK."

Kate Phillips, Director of Unscripted at the BBC, added: "With marvellous Mo Gilligan leading proceedings, 'That’s My Jam' will see competitive celebrities facing off like never before, in a series of musical games guaranteed to provide a multitude of surprises and singalong moments!”

The show will feature celebrity guests, dance and trivia-based games, and musical performances.

Jimmy's US show has previously featured stars including Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Kate and Oliver Hudson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Rita Ora with segments such as 'Mixtape Medley Showdown', 'Slay It, Don't Spray It' and 'Wheel of Musical Impressions'.

'That's My Jam' will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, but bosses have yet to confirm any further details about the date it's due to air or any of the celebrity guests.
