Mo Gilligan has revealed top of his guest wishlist for The Lateish Show is Adele.

The comic admitted that getting her on the show is a "personal dream" for him, following his BAFTA win for Entertainment Performance at the Virgin Media Television BAFTAs last night (July 31).

"I really want to get Adele 0n, because we do this thing called 'Nursery Rhymes' and we had Jessie J on and she did 'Old MacDonald Had a Farm' with a Whitney Houston spin on it," Mo told Digital Spy and press.

"I really want to see Adele do it to one of her classics.

"That's been a personal dream. I'd be like, 'You can just do that, Adele, you can go home, you don't have to do the rest of the show,' so I'd love to get Adele."

The singer is currently working on the follow-up to 2015's, 25, but it seems unlikely we'll get to hear any of it soon as her manager confirmed it has been delayed.

Explaining that the album has been held back by the continuing pandemic, Jonathan Dickins told Music Week: "It isn't coming in September, it'll be ready when it's ready.

"We're all in the same boat, you're doing stuff and then all of a sudden, the world stops. It'll come when it's ready. I can't put a date on that yet. We have music, but we're still working."

The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan airs on Channel 4.
