West Lothian school pupils had their curiosity piqued with some special visitors.

The Curiosity Cube – a mobile science lab – was brought to Livingston by Merck, a leading global science and technology firm.

The mission was to bring STEM education to as many primary and secondary schools as possible during its tour of America, Canada and Europe, whilst also stopping at Merck’s Livingston site.

A spokesperson for the company said: “To help young minds build confidence that they are equipped for STEM careers, Merck is showing students that science is all around them through its Curiosity Cube mobile science lab.
