Model village unveils miniature celebration of Queen Elizabeth's jubilee

A teeny model of Queen Elizabeth II has been revealed as part of a colourful 'parade' through a model village in celebration of the jubilee.

Babbacombe Model Village in Devon has unveiled the impressively detailed parade of horse guards, beefeaters and the HRH.

Her Majesty can be seen sitting atop her red carriage and accompanied by her royal guards on horseback and marching in parade with their giant black bearskin helmets.

She is joined by eighteen hidden beefeater guards that have been spread throughout the village for a 'hunt' for the jubilee - with winners getting their very own union flag.

Despite being barely larger than your thumb, the little Queenie features remarkable detail and looks remarkably like the real thing.

Open daily between 21st May to 19th June 2022, the exhibit is a fun and remarkably well crafted sight to see over the jubilee period.

Described as a 'wonderful place to visit' by people on social media, Babbacombe model village has long made teeny models for yearly celebrations like Halloween and Christmas.
