Mohamed Salah has taken to social media after Liverpool's Champions League win over AC Milan on Tuesday night. The Reds, who returned to the competition 18 months after their last appearance, sealed a 3-1 victory over the Italian giants at the San Siro.

Salah meanwhile, was unfortunate to not get on the scoresheet after striking the crossbar twice. The Reds had a slow start to the game and were surprised by the hosts in the third minute when Christian Pulisic fired Milan ahead.

But Arne Slot's side kept their cool and pushed on for an equaliser. Their efforts were then rewarded, firstly by Ibrahima Konate and then Virgil van Dijk.

In the end, it turned into a pretty comfortable night and Dominik Szoboszlai added the third in the second half. Although Salah didn't get his name on the scoresheet, he continues to enjoy his time at the club, having scored three goals and provided as many assists in four Premier League matches.

Taking to Instagram after the game, Salah shared two pictures of him in action but without a caption. As usual, the post received a significant number of likes and comments.

On Wednesday morning, Salah took to his social media once again, this time sharing a picture of himself at San Siro on his Instagram stories. The star's future is yet to be resolved, having entered the final year of his current deal at Anfield.

So far, there has been no extension and he has previously dropped a hint over his future, saying: "Honestly, I had a good summer. I had a long time to stay with myself, try to think positive because as you know it's my last year at the club.

"I just want to enjoy it, I don't want to think about it but I feel free to play football, we will see next year. To be fair, I was coming to the [Manchester United] game and I said, 'it could be my last time' the club have not talked to me yet so I will play my last season and see at the end of the season."
