Congratulations are in order for former The Saturdays singer and England cricketer Stuart Broad!

The happy couple announced the exciting news that they're engaged on social media on New Year's Day 2021, with both posting the same photo of them sharing a kiss across their social media accounts.

Mollie posted the snap to Instagram alongside the caption: "A thousand times yes! I still can't believe it, the most magical start to the new year! I can’t wait to spend all my years with you @stuartbroad."

For Stuart's version, he called it "the best way to start 2021".

The comments section of both uploads was flooded with praise for the athlete and the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, with plenty of their famous friends sending well wishes.

Mollie's former The Saturdays bandmate Vanessa White commented with three red heart emojis, while more recent Strictly contestant and Radio 1 host Clara Amfo teased: "It was our chat on the radio that did it innit?! congrats MK!"

"Massive congratulations both," commented Strictly pro Amy Dowden, while Matt Baker wrote: "Huge Congratulations to you both!!! Wonderful News !!!! X."

"Congrats guys," added Chris Hughes, and Piers Morgan also sent along his congratulations, commenting: "Congrats to you both!"

The couple were first linked in March 2018 but split in August 2018. They revealed they'd got back together last February, and the rest, as they say, is history.

The sweet announcement came just hours after Mollie told fans how much she was going to miss the athlete as he goes away for work.

In the caption of a selfie posted to Instagram earlier in the day, the radio host said she was experiencing "a mix of feeling excited for him but knowing I’m going to miss him so much".
