Molly-Mae Hague divides fans after revealing 'wild' prices ahead of new clothing line Maebe launch
Fans of Molly-Mae Hague have been left divided after the prices for her new clothing line were revealed earlier today (Sunday 29). The influencer, 25, has been working hard behind the scenes on her new fashion brand named Maebe, with the first collection set to launch tonight.
It comes after the former Love Island star shocked fans when she announced her break-up from her fiancé Tommy Fury in August, five years after the couple first met on the ITV dating show back in 2019. The couple also share their adorable daughter Bambi, who was born in January last year.
Ahead of her high-end looking items being released to the public for the first time on Sunday evening at 7pm, the Maebe Instagram account, which has already amassed almost 850k followers, gave fans a sneak peek at some of the prices.

After hosting a pop-up store with select customers in London last week, fans caught the first glimpse of the collection and have since been eagerly waiting for its online launch.
A post that was shared to @maebestore earlier today then read: "Today’s the day. Head over to our stories to find out everything you need to know before launch. What’s going on your wishlist? See you @ 7pm,". The post, which saw Molly modelling a cosy white set then added: "Molly wears our ‘Away Day set’. Bottoms size M, Top size S."
Over on the clothing brand's stories, the prices were then revealed for a few of the sought-after items. One included the contour popper top priced at £50, the seam denim jeans at £90 and the ultimate blazer for £140.
But many of Molly-Mae's followers have been left disappointed by the price point of the new range, claiming that it is 'unaffordable'. Taking the comments' section of the post, @chantelle_davenport34 wrote: "Was so excited for this launch but £140 for a blazer is wild," as another fan @leanne_1b said: "Maebe I can’t afford the items x fab x."
@_paigechar wrote: "£140 for a blazer and £90 for jeans! criminallllllll behaviour," as another fan said: "£90 for jeans I’m too broke for this," and @beck.yb69 added: "Thought it was supposed to be reasonable prices correct me if I’m wrong xx."
@angel_summer01 said: "Before I buy I’m gonna see what people say about quality because I’m not paying £100+ for clothes that aren’t worth it."
However some fans have defended Molly-Mae, with one writing: "The prices aren’t even bad, she’s selling nice quality basics you’ll have for years not £3 shein tops."
Another wrote: "The pricing solely reflects the type of cliental she would like to see wearing her pieces. It’s not meant for everyone’s taste, style fit or budget.
"She’s a business woman at the end of the day. She’s here to produce pieces that won’t be accessible to everyone’s budget. This is how things become more desirable and wanted.
"No one wants something that just anyone can have which is why you get knock off fake designer wear for those that can’t afford the real deal. If you like but can not afford - opt for a cheaper brand doing similar styles. It’s that simple.
"It’s a classy looking collection and looks like the right price point for what it is. The issue will be the main demographics of her followers are not this price point."
A third added: "I can’t wait for the launch and think the prices are very reasonable."
