Reality TV star Molly-Mae Hague is now reportedly a multi-millionaire after she signed a new seven-figure contract just days after sparking outrage over her comments on wealth.
The star, best known for taking part in Love Island, has apparently signed a new deal with Beauty Works which will keep her on their books until winter 2022.
A source told The Sun: “Molly's range with Beauty Works was a bestseller so she's signed on with them until winter 2022. The deal is worth seven figures”.
She had previously collaborated with the brand to create a range of hair products.
The new deal comes after she sparked outrage by telling a podcast host that “we all have the same 24 hours of the day”.
In a resurfaced clip, she told the Diary of a CEO podcast that “I do think if you want something enough, you can achieve it” but it sparked backlash because of people have different financial backgrounds.
She added: “It just depends to what lengths you want to go to get where you want to be in the future.”
On Monday, she responded to the criticism saying she never meant them "with malice or ill intent".
Writing on Instagram, she said: “I completely appreciate that things can affect different people in different ways however I just want to stress that I would never intend to hurt or upset anyone by anything that I say or do.
"I apologise to the people that have been affected negatively or misunderstood the meaning of what I said in the podcast.
“The intentions of the podcast were only ever to tell my story and inspire from my own experience”.
Ms Hague and her boyfriend Tommy Fury reportedly moved into a high-security new home last month after a devastating burglary on their luxury Manchester apartment.
The Standard has contacted Molly-Mae’s representatives for comment.
