Molly-Mae Hague hits back at 'painful' reports about Tommy Fury relationship
Molly-Mae Hague invites the cameras into her life with Prime Video documentary Behind It All.
Molly-Mae Hague has fired back at claims that her break up from Tommy Fury was a publicity stunt, saying: "That is very painful to read because it's real life, Tommy and I have a baby together."
Sat down for an exclusive Q&A ahead of her Prime Video documentary series Molly-Mae: Behind It All with Yahoo in attendance, the influencer discussed her "complicated" relationship with the boxer.
She told Yahoo and other press: "We are navigating a really complicated time in both of our lives like in the public eye and I think this is a whole new territory for me. Tommy and I's relationship, it's been in the public eye always, but to deal with this break up with millions of eyes watching, it is hard and it is complicated."
Their romance first began when Hague first got into the hot tub with Fury on Love Island in Mallorca in the summer of 2019. Since that moment, their five year relationship has played out in the public eye.

They may have narrowly missed out on the £50,000 prize fund but the couple were considered the ITV dating show's biggest success story — having built their lives together in the outside world with their daughter Bambi.
Questions about publicity stunt
Last year, Hague and Fury's split come as a huge shock to their fans. Mother-of-one Hague responded by throwing herself into juggling motherhood and launching her fashion business Maebe — all while the cameras have been following her daily life to shoot the documentary.
Only now are we beginning to hear the full story about the break up. Fury has revealed the real reason behind their split was alcoholism, telling Men’s Health: "We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink."
In the first sequence of Molly-Mae: Behind It All, which will be available to stream from Friday on Prime Video, Hague said she wished the break up had all been a publicity stunt.
At the Q&A, she explained: "I think that for me above everything has been the most frustrating part because I actually say in the documentary like 'I wish it was a publicity stunt' because it'd be a lot easier.
"Because going through all of this with the turmoil of a break up has been incredibly hard and I think to have those comments, and I do see the comments, and people say, 'This is obviously just been done for the launch of a brand or a publicity stunt.'
"That is very painful to read because it's real life; Tommy and I have a baby together and it's very, very real and it's a really hard thing that we've both gone through the last six months. I think this documentary will clear up any questions of that. You see the real side to it and you're a bit of a fly on the wall and I think people will be quite surprised by how honest we've been."
Are Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury back together?
Hague and Fury will address the New Year party kiss on Behind It All. While admitting their relationship is "complicated", the entrepreneur revealed why she has chosen not to speak much about their break up publicly.
She said: "I think the reason why I don't comment on it and why I don't speak about it on my YouTube or publicly is because simply like we both are navigating it ourselves and we both are figuring it out as adults and as parents and yeah, we're doing the best we can.
"But I really do feel like the documentary is gonna answer a lot of questions and we also do touch on that situation. I think the last thing I want is any confusion and I don't ever want people to feel confused by things that are going on. We try to explain things as best we can."
Not a break up documentary
Inviting fans into her £4m mansion in Cheshire, Hague however said there was so much more to the Prime Video series than the split. "It’s definitely so much more than a break up documentary," she said. "We are very honest in what we share... But it focuses on parts of my life I haven’t really delved into before."
The TV personality shared what viewers can expect to find out about her. "We touch on motherhood," she said. "Talking a lot about body confidence, running two businesses, and just doing all of that while having a two-year-old and navigating it all through a break up has been a really challenging time."
Motherhood is a big part of her life and it will be a big focus of the next drop of episodes in the spring.
"It's not a secret that I did struggle at the start of my motherhood journey," she said. "At the moment, I'm in an incredible place with being a mum. Motherhood is all I dreamed it would be, now Bambi is two next week."
Molly-Mae: Behind It All eps 1-3 launch exclusively on Prime Video on 17 January. The latter three episodes will drop in Spring 2025.
