Stark images show the moment a tree toppled onto a car on an Edinburgh road during Storm Eowyn.

On Friday afternoon, January 24, a motorist spotted a Land Rover parked underneath the tree on Pilton Avenue.

Images show the bonnet and front of the roof swallowed up by toppled foliage. It appears the tree fell from a park while the vehicle was stationary near the pavement.
