Moment Hero Police Officers Rescue Two Dogs From Raging Fire

Police bodycam footage captured the moment officers saved two dogs from a massive industrial fire in Mount Isa, Queensland on September 12.

As fire crews worked to extinguish the blaze on Duchess Road, two police constables evacuated nearby residents.

The constables then spotted two dogs at a property and leapt into action, picking up the pets and carrying them to safety before the blaze intensified.

“I’m looking after you mate. I’m looking after you,” a constable can be heard telling one of the dogs as he holds it in his arms.

The dogs were unharmed and returned to their owners, Queensland Police said.

The cause of the fire was unknown and being investigated, with police urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. Credit: Queensland Police via Storyful
