Moment Land Rover crashes head-on in Coventry leaving man 'battered and bruised'

Footage has captured a head-on crash in Coventry, which left a man injured. It happened on Lockhurst Lane in Foleshill.

Two men, who have not been identified, were reportedly in a Land Rover that collided with a vehicle carrying a 60-year-old man on Lockhurst Lane. It happened at around 9.50pm on Sunday (November 17).

In a clip obtained by CoventryLive, the 60-year-old man can be seen travelling along Lockhurst Lane. A few seconds later, a Land Rover swerves before crashing into the victim head-on, leaving him 'battered and bruised.'

Paramedics who were passing by the scene of the incident found the man had sustained minor injuries. He was quickly taken to University Hospital Coventry in Walsgrave.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Crews came across a two-car RTC on Lockhurst Lane in Coventry at 9.49pm on Sunday (November 17). Crews found one man, whom they assessed for injuries not thought to be serious and conveyed him to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”
